- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 large container small curd cottage cheese
- 1 box lasagna noodles
- olive oil
Directions

1Cook noodles until tender.

2Brown beef in olive oil; drain all fat and place in a saucepan.

3Saute onions and garlic in olive oil; add to saucepan.

4Add Italian seasoning, tomato sauce, tomato paste, tomatoes and basil leaves to mixture.

5Bring to a boil. Cut heat to low and cook 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Layer noodles, meat sauce and cottage cheese.

6Put Mozzarella on top and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
