Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • pinch of garlic salt
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix (dry)
  • 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small pkg. cottage cheese

Directions

    Season meat with salt, pepper and garlic salt and brown in skillet.

    Stir in tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce.

    Simmer for about 10 minutes.

    After sauce has simmered, stir in package of cottage cheese.

    Pour a portion of sauce into bottom of baking dish; cover with strips of lasagna noodles that have been drained. Add slices of Mozzarella cheese.

    Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.

    Top with strips of Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    This dish is good to prepare the night before use and take from refrigerator and bake.
