Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. (approximately) sausage
  • 1/2 lb. (approximately) ground beef
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (32 oz.) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • lasagna noodles (approximately 16 oz. pkg.)
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. (24 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • dash of black pepper
  • 1 large pkg. Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown meat, drain and add garlic, oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt; simmer 3 to 5 minutes.

    Stir in spaghetti sauce and paste.

    Cook, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes.

    Boil noodles for 5 minutes.

    Drain and chill in cold water.

    Mix eggs, cottage cheese, parsley and pepper.
