  • 1 lb. Rudy's Farm sausage
  • 1 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1/2 box wide lasagna noodles, cooked, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton creamed cottage cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown sausage; drain fat.

    Add next 7 ingredients; simmer, uncovered, for about 45 minutes.

    Combine cottage cheese with remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole; alternating noodles, cottage cheese mixture, Mozzarella cheese and meat mixture until all is used.

    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
