- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. whole basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 10 oz. lasagna noodles
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
Directions

1Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat.

2Add the next 5 ingredients.

3Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Cook noodles in a large amount of water until tender.

5Drain; rinse.

6Combine remaining ingredients except Mozzarella cheese and add to meat sauce.

7Place half the noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

8Spread with half of the meat sauce mixture.

9Sprinkle half the Mozzarella cheese over this and then repeat with the noodles, sauce and cheese.

10Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.

11Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares. This will allow time for the filling to set slightly.
