- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 10 oz. lasagna noodles
- 1 (1 lb.) carton cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 10 oz. Swiss cheese slices
Directions

1Brown ground beef, onion and garlic salt; drain.

2Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar and basil; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

3Cook and drain noodles.

4Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, eggs, salt and pepper.

5Alternate layers of lasagna, cheese mixture, slices of cheese and meat mixture, repeating until all are used, in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

6Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
