  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 minced onion (optional)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles (8 lengths)
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton cream-style cottage cheese
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown meat in skillet and drain.

    Stir in spaghetti sauce and onion (optional) and simmer while noodles cook.

    Cook noodles with salt and vegetable oil according to package directions and drain. Layer 1/2 noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and meat sauce in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Repeat layers.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Serves six to eight.
