- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 c. finely chopped celery
- 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 8 oz. tomato sauce (Ragu)
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Gouda cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) carton cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
Directions

1In a large saucepan, cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

2Drain and set aside.

3In a skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, celery, onion and garlic until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

4Drain off fat from skillet.

5Stir in oregano, pepper and cream cheese.

6Cook and stir over low heat to melt cheese.

7Gradually add Cheddar and Gouda cheeses, stirring and heating until cheeses are nearly melted.

8Add tomato sauce and stir.

9Remove from heat.

10Stir together cottage cheese and egg.
