- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 bay leaf, crushed
- 2/3 (16 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles (about 14)
- 2 eggs
- 1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta cheese
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Cook beef and onions until juices evaporate.

2Add tomatoes and next 8 ingredients.

3Heat until boiling, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring mixture occasionally.

4Spoon off any fat on top of sauce.
