Lasagna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
  • 1 1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped (optional)
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (any flavor)
  • 2 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 can water
  • basil, oregano, thyme, and Italian seasonings to taste
  • 1 box bow-tie pasta
  • 2 lbs mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

    In large pan, brown ground meat with salt, pepper, onion and garlic. Drain.

    Add mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, and tomato sauce.

    Mix well and simmer about 10 minutes.

    Add seasonings as desired.

    Cook pasta, drain.

    (Any non-shelled pasta will work fine, such as bow-ties).

    Add to meat mixture.

    Spray pan with Pam.

    Add half of mixture, sprinkle with half of cheese.

    Add remaining mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 350° until cheese is thoroughly melted.
