Ingredients
- 1 cup coarsely chopped zucchini
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce (canned or homemade)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked pasta, nuggets preferably radatore
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (optional)
Directions

1Preheat a 4 QT pot or casserole pan heat on medium.

2Cook sausage with onion and garlic.

3Cook till done (8-10 minutes) and drain.

4Add spaghetti sauce, broth and water.

5Bring to a boil.

6Stir in pasta.

7Reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 7 minutes.

8Stir zucchini into chili and cook for 4-5 minutes or until tender.

9Remove from heat and stir basil into soup, if desired.
