- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. garlic, chopped
- 1 c. onions, chopped
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can whole tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce or Ro-Tel
- 1 can tomato juice
- salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper to taste
- 1 can mushrooms
- 8 oz. cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- Ricotta cheese
- 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Brown ground beef and drain.

3Saute garlic, onions, parsley and bell pepper in butter.

4Put ground beef and sauteed mixture into saucepan with tomatoes and mushrooms.

5Cover and simmer for 1/2 hour.

6On side, mix cottage cheese, egg, salt and pepper.

7In an ungreased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, layer prepared lasagne noodles, cottage cheese, sauce, Mozzarella cheese.

8Top with Ricotta and Parmesan cheese.

9Cook until cheese is browned and lasagne bubbles.
