  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 envelope Lawry's spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz. lasagne noodles
  • 1 (6 to 8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

    Brown meat slowly.

    Pour off excess fat.

    Add next 3 ingredients.

    Cover and simmer 40 minutes.

    Cook noodles in boiling water until tender.

    Drain and rinse in cold water.

    Place half the noodles in an 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan.

    Cover with 1/3 of the sauce.

    Add half the Mozzarella and half the cottage cheese.

    Repeat layers, ending with sauce.

    Top with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until it bubbles. Let stand 15 minutes to set.
