  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 large cans (12 oz. each) tomato paste
  • 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown meat and drain grease off.

    Add 4 to 5 cups of water, seasonings and tomato paste.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Cook noodles; 9 noodles for each pan (3 across and 3 deep).

    In baking dish alternate a layer of noodles, meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese and then Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes or until cheese bubbles on top, in the middle.

    Freezes very well. Makes 2 (13 x 9-inch) pans, 12 servings per pan.
