  • 8 oz. extra lean ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/3 c. tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c. tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 4 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked (2 c. cooked)
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 c. cottage cheese (1%)
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

    Brown ground beef and garlic in saucepan until redness disappears.

    Drain off excess fat.
  3. 3
    Add tomato paste, tomatoes and seasonings.

    Simmer for 20 minutes.

    Cook lasagne noodles.

    In a casserole dish, spread 1/3 meat, then 1/2 noodles, 1/2 Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese.

    Repeat once and lastly top off with meat sauce.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes or cover with waxed paper for 20 minutes, rotating every 8 minutes.
