  • 1 1/2 c. uncooked shell macaroni
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. shredded lettuce
  • 1 c. shredded ham
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed and drained
  • 1 c. shredded cheese (Monterey Jack)
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Cook macaroni and drain.

    Rinse in cold water; drain.

    Combine macaroni and oil; toss lightly.

    Layer eggs, lettuce, macaroni, ham, peas and cheese in salad bowl.

    Combine mayonnaise and remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Spread mixture evenly over the salad, sealing to edge of bowl.

    Cover tightly and chill 12 hours or more.

    Toss gently before serving.
