- 6 thinly sliced red tomatoes
- white onion rings
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
- butter
- 1 c. shredded cheese
Directions

1In a shallow casserole dish (13 x 9-inch) layer:

2zucchini and tomatoes.

3Cover these with thinly sliced white onion rings. Sprinkle over vegetables:

4brown sugar, basil, salt and pepper to taste.

5Cover all with cracker crumbs.

6Dot with butter.

7Sprinkle with cheese.

8Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350°.

9Remove cover and bake another 45 minutes.
