Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 4 c. shredded cabbage (about 1/2 head or so)
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. sliced potatoes, unpared (about 4 nice potatoes)
- 2 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
- 1 lb. ground beef, uncooked
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet.

2Spread cabbage evenly over margarine.

3Sprinkle with onion and caraway seed. Arrange potato slices in skillet.

4Crumble beef in small pieces over potatoes.

5Pour tomato sauce over all.

6Cover skillet and cook on low heat for 30 to 35 minutes.

7Do not stir.

8If possible, use 10 or 12-inch skillet with lid.
