Lazy Stuffed Cabbage

- 2 lb. hamburg
- 2 c. rice
- 1 large cabbage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 4 strips bacon
- 1 can tomato sauce
Directions

1Cook rice in 4 cups water; stir-fry hamburg with onions, then add 1 can tomato sauce.

2Add salt and pepper; add rice.

3Take middle of cabbage out with a knife.

4Take leaves apart one by one; cook in water until soft.

5Spread cabbage in a 9 x 13-inch pan. For one layer, add half of hamburg mix, cover with another layer of cabbage, then rest of hamburg mix.

6Cover with rest of cabbage. Put bacon on top.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
