Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. powdered milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. water (for desired batter thickness)
- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Directions

1Mix the dry ingredients together.

2Add egg yolk, oil and water; blend.

3Fold in the egg whites.

4Cook in hot skillet on one side until bubbles appear.

5Turn pancakes to other side and brown lightly.

6Serve hot.

7Any leftover batter may be used the next day if refrigerated until ready to use.
