- 1 c. lard
- 4 c. boiling water
- a little salt
- a little sugar
- a little baking powder
Directions

1Mix flour, salt, sugar and baking soda.

2Mix in lard like pie crust.

3Gradually add water to dough.

4Roll with a lefsa rolling pin to desired size.

5Cook on hot griddle.

6Turn and cook the other side.

7(Aunt Anna always put a milk and sugar mixture on one side while cooking.)

8Cool.

9Stack and cover firmly to hold flat shape.

10These will keep for a long time in a cool, dry place.
