- 2/3 c. butter
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 unbeaten eggs
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 1/4 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Cut butter into flour and sugar until particles are fine in texture.

2Press into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

3Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes until set but not brown.

4Combine eggs, brown sugar, coconut, pecans and vanilla extract.

5Mix well and spread on partially baked dough.

6Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes being careful not to overcook.

7Frost immediately.

8Cool and cut into bars.
