- 1/2 c. butter (not margarine)
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. soft butter
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. powdered sugar
Directions

1Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Mix 1/2 cup butter, 1 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 cup sugar with fingers.

3Press into bottom of pan; bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

4Beat the eggs well; add 2 tablespoons flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, salt and 1 cup sugar.

5Beat until smooth.

6Stir in coconut, walnuts and vanilla. Smooth evenly over top of hot crust.

7Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Cool completely.
