Ingredients
- 3 1/2 lb. beef round bottom
- 2 to 3 tsp. butter
- salt and pepper
- 1 to 2 carrots
- celery and parsley
- 6 c. water or beef sauce or until covered
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Heat butter in large pan and saute the meat until it becomes light brown on all sides.

2Add the salt, pepper, carrots, celery, parsley and the water or beef sauce and then lemon juice.

3Boil it for 2 hours.

4Let the meat cool and cut it in pieces.

5Put the pieces in the pan again and warm the pieces for awhile.

6Pour the gravy through the colander.

7Make the gravy thicker by adding 2 teaspoons of flour.

8Serve the meat with rice or sauteed mushrooms.
