  • 1 lb. broccoli
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onions
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Trim broccoli. Separate into flowerets.

    Cook in a small amount of boiling water until tender-crisp. Drain. Reserve the flowerets and keep warm.

    Saute onions in butter and oil over medium heat (2 minutes). Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper.

    Return broccoli to saucepan.

    Stir gently to coat with lemon mixture.
