- 2 small fryers
- 2 lemons (squeeze juice)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 or 2 bananas
- 1 can figs

1Cut up small fryers.

2Salt and pepper to taste after washing and patting dry.

3Pour juice of lemons over chicken.

4Let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes.

5Reserve liquid.

6Melt butter in skillet.

7Reduce heat to medium-low.

8Brown pieces of chicken on both sides.

9Drain excess butter from skillet.

10Replace chicken. Cover; simmer at low heat with reserved lemon juice until tender. Garnish with canned, drained figs and bananas sauteed in butter.
