Lemon-Buttered Turnips

- 3 medium turnips (1 lb.)
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 green onion, sliced or 2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Peel turnips and cut into 1/2-inch cubes or 2 x 1/2-inch sticks.

2Cook, covered, in a small amount of boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp-tender.

4Stir in margarine or butter, sliced green onion or snipped parsley and lemon juice. Season to taste.
