- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 small eggs
- lump of butter
- 2 lemons and 1 rind, grated
- 2 heaping Tbsp. self-rising flour
Directions

1Cook all ingredients, except butter, until thick in a pot on low heat.

2Add butter and beat.

3Makes enough icing to ice 5 thin layers of cake.

4Ice first layer and beat icing.

5Ice each additional layer and beat icing each time.

6Allow icing to air dry on cake before covering cake.
