  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/8 c. butter
  • 2 eggs (separate whites)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • juice and rind of 1 lemon
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter. Add egg yolks.

    Add remaining ingredients (flour, lemon juice, lemon rind and milk).

    After thoroughly mixed, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell (9-inch). Bake at 325° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
