  • 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar

Directions

    Combine cake mix, 1 egg and melted butter.

    Pat into 13 x 9 x 2-inch lightly greased baking pan.

    Blend cream cheese, 3 eggs and confectioners sugar.

    Pour over unbaked cake layer.

    Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Cool; cut into squares.
