- 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. lemon cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3 eggs
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Combine cake mix, 1 egg and melted butter.

2Pat into 13 x 9 x 2-inch lightly greased baking pan.

3Blend cream cheese, 3 eggs and confectioners sugar.

4Pour over unbaked cake layer.

5Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned.

6Cool; cut into squares.

7These cookies brown quickly, therefore, check frequently to avoid burning.
