  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. white cornmeal
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • whipped cream

Directions

    In large mixer bowl, stir together sugar, flour and cornmeal. Add eggs and beat until ivory color.

    Add lemon peel, lemon juice and butter; beat just enough to mix.

    Pour into pastry shell. Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

    Serve warm or cold and top with whipped cream.
