  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. cornmeal
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice and rind
  • 4 eggs

    Mix sugar, flour and cornmeal well with fork.

    Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth.

    Beat by hand for 5 minutes. Bake at 375° until brown.
