- 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. cornmeal
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 4 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
Directions

1Combine sugar, flour and cornmeal in a large bowl.

2Toss lightly with fork to mix.

3Add eggs, butter, milk, lemon peel and lemon juice.

4Beat with rotary beater until smooth and thoroughly blended.

5Pour into pie shell.

6Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes until top is golden brown.
