  • 12 cup butter, softened
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon half-and-half
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest
  • 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
  • 12 cup lemon drop candy, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 14 teaspoon salt

    preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    beat in egg, half and half, and lemon peel.

    in a seperate bowl, combine lemon drop candies, baking powder and salt.

    gradually add to butter and egg mixture and mix well.

    drop by round teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.

    bake for 8-10 minutes.
