- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 oz. lemon extract
- 1/2 lb. white raisins
- 4 c. pecans (not chopped)
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped cherries
- 1 c. candied pineapple
Directions

1Mix 1 cup of flour in bowl with raisins, dates and nuts.

2In another bowl, cream butter and sugar.

3Add Karo, lemon and alternate eggs with flour, salt and baking powder.

4Beat 5 minutes with electric beater.

5Pour mixture over fruit and nuts, then add cherries and pineapple.
