- 1 12 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 12 cups fresh lemon juice, about 8 lemons
- 3 cups ginger ale, chilled
Directions

1In 1-quart saucepan, cook sugar and water over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.

2Remove from heat, cool to room temperature.

3Stir in lemon juice.

4Store mixture in tightly covered nonmetal container or jar in refrigerator.

5For each serving, in tall glass, mix 1/2 cup chilled mixture and 1/2 cup ginger ale.

6If desired, add ice.
