- 1 1/2 lb. medium carrots
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- boiling water
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 thin slices lemon
Directions

1Wash carrots; pare.

2Place in large saucepan with salt and enough boiling water to cover.

3Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, or until tender.

4Drain.

5Melt butter in large skillet.

6Stir in sugar.

7Add lemon slices and carrots; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until carrots are glazed.

8Makes 6 servings.
