- 1 1/2 lb. medium carrots (9 to 12)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. brown or white sugar
- 4 thin lemon slices or 2 Tbsp. juice
Directions

1Peel carrots and cut in half lengthwise.

2Cover with salt and enough boiling water.

3Simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until tender.

4Drain well.

5Melt butter in large skillet.

6Stir in sugar and lemon.

7Add carrots; stir until well glazed over medium heat. Makes 6 servings.
