- FOR THE CRUST:
- 1-1/2 stick Unsalted Butter
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/4 cups Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 4 whole Eggs
- 2 whole Egg Yolks
- 2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/3 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon And Lime Zest
- 1 cup Fresh Lemon And Lime Juice
- FOR OPTIONAL GARNISH:
- Powdered Sugar
- Lemon And/Or Lime Zest

1Preheat oven 350°F. Grease a 9x13 pan and line with foil, leaving an extra 2 inches on both ends. Grease the foil.

2For the crust:

3In a food processor, pulse the butter, sugars and salt until combined. Press the mixture equally into the greased pan and bake until edges turn golden brown, about 25 minutes. While the crust is baking prepare the filling.

4For the filling:

5Whisk together the eggs and egg yolks. Add the sugar and flour and whisk until smooth. Add the zest and juice and whisk until combined. Pour filling into the still warm crust mixture, lower oven to 300°F and bake for 30-35 minutes until filling is set.

6Refrigerate the bars for 2 hours. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and some zest if desired. Pull on the edges of the tinfoil to remove it from the pan. Enjoy!
