- 1 lemon (rind and juice)
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 pt. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Dilute cornstarch in cold water.

2Put all ingredients, except egg yolks, in pan and cook until thick.

3Add egg yolks, slightly beaten, and cook again.

4Cool; pour into baked pie shell.

5Use whites of eggs for meringue and brown.
