  • 1 lb. butter
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 oz. lemon extract
  • 2 slices candied pineapple
  • 1/4 lb. red cherries
  • 1/4 lb. green cherries
  • 1 lb. nuts
  • 1 (10 oz.) box raisins

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; sift baking powder and flour together and add to butter mixture, alternating with egg yolks. Add lemon extract, fruits and nuts; add stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 275° for 2 hours.
