Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg. lemon jello
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (14 oz.) can evaporated milk, cooled
  • 2 c. Nilla wafers, crushed

Directions

    Dissolve jello in boiling water; chill until partly set.

    Whip jello until lightly foamy.

    Add lemon juice and mix very well (to jello).

    In a separate bowl, whip cooled milk until thick.

    Whip in sugar gradually (into milk).

    Blend both mixtures together. Line 9 x 13-inch glass dish with 1/2 crushed Nilla wafers.

    Pour mix into 9 x 13-inch glass dish over layer of crumbs.

    Top with remaining crumbs.

    Chill until set.

    Serve.
