- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3 eggs, separated
Directions

1Mix cornstarch and 1 cup sugar.

3Beat in egg yolks, one at a time.

4Mix milk in slowly.

5Place in double boiler.

6Add butter; cook until thickened.

7Pour into baked pie shell.

8Beat egg whites; add 3 tablespoons sugar; put on pie and brown.
