  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 eggs, separated

    Mix cornstarch and 1 cup sugar.

    Add lemon juice.

    Beat in egg yolks, one at a time.

    Mix milk in slowly.

    Place in double boiler.

    Beat egg whites; add 3 tablespoons sugar; put on pie and brown.
