- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 c. boiling water
- pie crust
- juice of lemon to taste
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Cook pie crust.

2Combine 1 cup sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks and boiling water in a double boiler.

3Cook until thick.

4Put in cooked pie crust and add meringue.

5To make meringue, beat the egg whites until stiff.

6Add 2 tablespoons sugar.

7Put on pie and bake in oven until brown.
