- 7 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. boiling water
- 4 beaten egg yolks
- 2 grated lemon rinds
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Mix cornstarch, flour and sugar.

2Add boiling water, stirring constantly, until smooth and creamy. Cook in double boiler for 5 minutes.

3Mix egg yolks, lemon rind, butter and lemon juice and stir into the hot mixture.

4Cook over hot water for 10 minutes, stirring constantly until egg is cooked.
