- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 2 lemons (juice and rind)
- 3 eggs (reserve whites)
Directions

1Beat egg yolks until lemon colored.

2Add sugar.

3Grate lemon rind into this.

4Add lemons (juice and rind) and oleo to eggs and sugar.

5Pour into unbaked pie crust.

6Beat egg whites stiff for meringue.

7Bake at 325° until almost set.

8Spread meringue on top of pie and brown.
