- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 large lemon (grated rind and juice)
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients and add boiling water and boil until thick.

2Add lemon juice and rind.

3Add beaten egg yolks and pour into baked pie shell.

4Cover with meringue and brown.

5Bake at 350°.
