- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs, added one at a time
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. cake flour
- 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

2the first 3 ingredients.

3Add eggs gradually and alternately with milk and flour.

4Mix well.

5Add flavoring and baking powder.

6Cook at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

7Don't open oven for an hour.

8Cook in tube pan.
