Lemon Pound Cake

- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (with pudding in mix)
- 1 (11 1/4 oz.) jar lemon curd
- 1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 medium lemon
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease Bundt pan.

3Mix cake as directed except reduce water by 1/4 cup.

4Stir in nuts and curd.

5Bake 45 to 50 minutes.

6Cool in pan for 25 minutes.

7Remove from pan and cool completely.

8Grate lemon peel and squeeze juice from lemon. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with 4 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice.

9(Glaze should be an easy spreading consistency, but not too runny.)

10Spoon on cake.

11Garnish with grated peel.
