  • 1 lb. butter, creamed
  • 1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
  • 6 eggs, beaten separately
  • 1 lb. white raisins
  • 1 lb. (4 c.) flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 to 3 oz. lemon extract
  • 4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Put raisins and nuts in bowl and mix with part of flour. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, flour, lemon extract, raisins and nuts.

    Put in large tube pan.

    Bake at 275° until done (2 1/2 hours).
